Incentives Part II

Some things never change...

For those of you who are like me, incentives can be a powerful thing. Whether it is starting a new project, hitting a life goal, accomplishing something in your personal life....incentives are just one way to kick start that work.

Sometimes incentives or inspiration can be as simple as fortune cookie (this was my fortune now taped to my computer). But, my real incentive...became a pair of shoes.

One might ask them self, "why the need to buy an expensive pair of shoes to get something accomplished?"

Well, each person has a different form of inspiration, and mine are shoes. No, not just any pair of shoes. These are the kind that keep you awake at night, and that get you out of bed in the morning. They are the shoes that you you slip on your way to a challenging meeting, a long day of studying or just dealing with a plain old case of the Mondays.

My rock stud shoes became my incentive to start a blog, and get writing.
The catch is these shoes remain in a box in my closet until I get through 10 blogs by the end of the month. If it doesn't happen, the shoes sadly go back to their previous home at Neiman Marcus. But, if the blogs continue...then the shoes are mine.

I mean...look at these shoes. You could rule the world in these shoes. These are kick a** and take names shoes. So, the remainder of the blogs moving forward will be about different shoe trends...where to buy shoes...when to splurge (ahem)...when to be thrifty.

So from here on out, be prepared to indulge yourself in the world of cha cha shoes.
